My World Project
What is everyday life like for children in different parts of the world? Here is a chance for your pupils to find out for themselves, tell the world what they learn and win an award for their school.

We invite schools to take part in the Millennium Schools My World project, which starts in the Summer Term, 2003.

Schools can enter a class or group of children, who will collaborate in researching the lives of children around the world. They can use any means for research, including the Internet, books, newspapers, magazines, television and radio. They might also make contact with their friends and family, or pupils in a twin school overseas.

They can write about their subjects' lives at home, school or at work. They can find out about their pass-times, sports and entertainments.

Pupils will have half a term to do their research. Each participating school will then get a free new Millennium Schools website, where they will have one week to present their findings.

The websites will then be frozen and a panel of educational judges will select the best and award prizes. First prize is a brand new iMac computer, with digital cameras and other equipment for runners up.

To enter, just fill in the form below. We will send you full details of the competition later in the year.
