| It was a great experience learning how to make felt slippers. It was a lengthy process and we had to be very patient. First of all we drew around our feet on a plastic sheet to create our feet's template. |

| We drew an outline around the foot template and then cut it out. |

| We cut the wool into small chunks by pulling it out gently and then we covered the foot template with three layers of wool. |

| We wet the base layer by spraying it with a mixture of water and washing up liquid. |

| We transfered our design to the top of our slippers and sprayed it again. |

| It was quite tricky to transfer our design onto the slippers, so we had to be very careful. |

| We had to tap the wet wool with our fingers all the time in order to felt it and make it strong. |

| When the slipper was felted we made a cut where the foot was to go. |

| We also had to felt the opening and make it very strong. |

| We gently removed the plastic template from inside the slipper. |

| We tried the slipper on for size and continued tapping and felting whilst still on our foot. |

| We had great fun designing and making our felt slippers. Shown here are some of our finished slippers. Aren't they great? |
