Howdy. My name is Samuel. I was born on the 27th of April 1791 in Boston. Boston is in America. I am famous for inventing the telegraph. With my invention you could send beeps through a wire. I invented the telegraph in 1835. With the telegraph I could send ten words a minute!
The telegraph was first used properly in 1844.
 
   Alexander Graham Bell

Good day to you. My name is Alexander. I was born in Edinburgh on the 3rd of March 1847. I didn’t stay in Edinburgh for ever, eventually I moved to Boston in America. I invented the telephone in 1876. With the telephone I could speak with someone else through a wire.
In 1878 the first telephone system between cities was set up.
 
   Guglielmo Marconi

Ciao. My name is Guglielmo and I was born on April 25 1874 in Italy. I am famous for inventing the radio. With radio you can send sounds through the air without wires. I sent my first radio messages in 1895. The Post Office in Britain was the first to use my radio invention.

Hello. I was born on the 14th of August 1888 near Glasgow. My name is John. I was always very interested in inventions. I am famous for inventing the first television. I showed everyone my invention in 1926. They were all amazed! It was very different to your television though.
 
   The Morse Code
This is the code Samuel Morse invented. With this code he was able to send messages as beeps through a wire.
