Our School
About our school...
"Hampton Primary School was established on a superb, green field site in 1952. Over the years it expanded into a range of extensions and mobiles. Then, as a result of on-going structural difficulties in the original main building and the need to increase the number of pupil places here, Kent County Council decided that we should be given a brand-new building. This was completed in September 1997 and put us all under one roof for the first time in 30 years. Not only did this superb building allow us to catch up on all the school's earlier development, but it also set us up well for the future - now even further enhanced by the arrival of our New Teaching Block. This has resulted not just in much improved facilities for all our pupils, but also the ability even further to expand from our present roll of around 540.
