Information for parents and friends


School times are:

Morning 9.00 - 12.00pm
Lunch 12.00 - 1.00pm - Reception
12.00 - 1.15pm - Year 1 & 2
Afternoon 1.00 - 3.00pm - Reception
1.15 - 3.15pm - Year 1 & 2

Lessons begin at 9.00 am prompt. Doors are opened at 8.50 am to give parents and children time to organise themselves before school starts. Parents are welcome to help change reading books or read with their child at this time.


Reception children may come into their classes from 8.45 am. We encourage parents to being their child in and stay for a little while. This time allows the children and parents to choose books together and settle happily for the day.

All children are taught by qualified teachers, and reception teachers are trained in early years education. Each class also has a trained general assistant and there are bilingual assistants for those whose first language is not English.
