The all- important SAT exams are just around the corner. Do you want to gain that level 8 which has always eluded you?
Well help is here. This site provides past SAT questions, taken from actual SAT papers.
The questions are broken down into subject area and can be used to help with your revision or simply as a means of extending your knowledge.
Every fortnight the questions will be updated for each subject area. Use your revision guides and the homework sites provided – ‘Extra Curriculum’ – to help answer the questions.
Here are some exam tips that you may find useful when sitting your SAT exams.
If you remember these tips it may improve your chances of getting through without panicking and improve your grade.
1. Above all try to stay calm.
2. Find out the number of questions on the exam paper and then work out how much time you can spend on each question.
3. Before the exam starts make sure you understand the instructions on the front cover of the paper.
4. Read through the whole exam paper at least once before writing.
5. Read each question carefully before writing.
6. Make sure you write down what is asked for – DO NOT write other information and waste time.
7. Use only the space available for your answer. If there is only one line for you to answer a question it will only require a short answer.
8. The number of marks at the end of each question also indicates how much you should write.
9. Answer all the questions you find easiest first.
10. On completion of the test check your answers.
